Past Future Perfect Tense digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu kejadian yang akan telah terjadi namun di waktu lampau. Past Future Perfect Tense ini merupakan tense gabungan antara past tense + future perfect tense. Kunci dalam membuat kalimat bentuk ini ialah dengan menggunakan dua keterangan waktu dimana keduanya saling berhubungan seperti kejadian di waktu di masa depan memiliki hubungan yang berkesinambungan dengan kejadian di waktu lampau karena Past Future Perfect Tense termasuk dalam Absolute-relative tense.
